Corey Hart Maxi Cd Set For Release In Europe
April 8, 1997

European fans of Corey Hart will be able to pick up a new Corey Hart Maxi CD soon. The single features “Black Cloud Rain” and two other songs from Corey’s self titled album; “Tell Me” and “Third Of June”. The catalogue number that you will need to order this CD is XEUK11.664327. The Maxi CD will be imported into Canada and will be available on April 21, 1997.

Mexico Releases Corey
March 27, 1997

Corey Hart’s self titled release was released in Mexico in mid-March and in conjunction with the release, Corey conducted an interview (in Spanish) with a Mexican TV film crew (Multivision) a few weeks ago during Canadian Music Week. His album is also set for a spring release in Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Holland, Portugal, Finland and Norway. Corey will get the Toronto Raptors-Chicago Bulls basketball game underway tonight (March 27th) at Toronto's Skydome by singing the national anthems.

Corey To Sign Autographs
February 19, 1997

All of you Toronto and area Corey Hart fans get ready. On March 7, Corey will be signing autographs at the grand opening of a new Blockbuster video store on Spadina Avenue just doors north of Queen Street West. Corey will be there to meet you from 12:30 to 1:30 PM ET. So bring your Corey paraphernalia on down and have Corey sign it for you.

Germany Set To Release Corey Hart

Corey Hart fans in Germany should be able to buy Corey Hart’s latest release sometime in April. The self titled release is approaching Platinum status in Canada.

Calgary Added To Western Tour
February 5, 1997

Calgary will have the opportunity to catch Corey Hart live on February 15. Other western tour dates are available in the January 27th news item below. In other Corey Hart news, the new video for “Tell Me” has been bumped up to medium rotation on MuchMusic and is still heavy at MusiquePlus.

Corey Receives Two Juno Nominations
January 29, 1997

Corey Hart was nominated this morning for two Juno Awards. Hart's nominations include Male Vocalist Of The Year and Producer Of The Year (Humberto Gatica, co-producer). The awards will be handed out at the 26th annual Juno Awards on Sunday March 9 at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, ON. CBC Television will broadcast the proceedings live at 8:00 PM (ET).

Black Cloud Rain Still Soaring

"Black Cloud Rain", the first single from the self titled album from Corey Hart, continues to do well at Contemporary Hit Radio (CHR) in Canada. The song is still top 20 and on an incredible 16 week run.

Canadian Tour Dates Announced

We just received the late-breaking news of Corey's confirmed Canadian tour dates - which marks his first tour in many years. The tour is set to begin in January in Quebec and continue into Ontario for two dates in February. Corey will be taking a full band on the road with him for these engagements (for which
tickets are now on sale) and the details are:

Dates for Western Canada have yet to be confirmed but for those dates, it looks like the shows will be stripped down to create a intimate atmosphere, much like Corey's performance of his old hits on the CBC TV special.

Corey Picked In Flare Feature "Men We Love"

All Corey Hart fans will be checking out Flare Magazine in the new year as Corey is included in the Flare feature "Men We Love". In tour news, it looks like Corey will head out on the road in the early part of 1997 but we do not have any specific details as yet. His single, Black Cloud Rain, continues to do well at radio and at Musiqueplus and Muchmusic. Plans are in the works for the next video/single - which will probably be the song "Tell Me".
