Spend An Hour With Corey
November 15, 1996

Next Wednesday, November 20th, Corey Hart will be featured on an hour long CBC Television Special. The special is scheduled to air at 8:00pm EST but you should check your local listings for all the details. The show was taped this past September at the CBC's Toronto studios and promises to be 60 entertaining
minutes featuring music from his latest release as well as highlighting past favourites. On the eve of this television special, Corey will be appearing live on the Life Network between 10-11 pm on the program (appropriately titled) - Live of Life with John Oakley. The next morning, Corey will be up bright and early for his live appearance on CBC Newsworld's morning show at 8:30 ET.

Corey Hart ... Everywhere

Where is Corey Hart these days? One word - Everywhere. He was featured on the front page of the Canada's national paper, Globe And Mail's Entertainment section this past Wednesday, his video for Black Cloud Rain is in heavy rotation on Muchmusic and beginning next week, he will be in Western Canada making visits to radio, print and retail outlets. Front Page Coverage For Corey
October 18, 1996

Corey was all over the Toronto media this week, scoring the front pages on the Entertainment sections in the Toronto Star and the Toronto Sun. Both papers were favourably impressed with his new album and watch for similar reactions as Corey travels across the country. Also, he will be appearing on Dini Petty on October 22nd so get those VCR's ready to tape his performance of Black Could Rain.

Corey Returns With His Most Honest Album Yet
October 11, 1996

Corey Hart has been absent for over 5 years, having recorded his last album in 1991. But he is poised to make a return with his
first album for Sony Music. This self-titled effort, in Canadian stores on October 15th, is described by Corey as his most honest work to date and one that he feels is the closest portrait of him as a man and an artist.

The first single from the album is Black Cloud Rain and has already been the most added song at CHR and A/C Radio. The accompanying video is finished and Corey personally delivered it to Muchmusic on October 11th. The video was filmed in Mexico City by director Javier (54.40, Ashley MacIsaac).

Corey will be traveling across the country to meet with the print and radio media in the various cities to talk about this new musical creation. He has already done extensive press in Montreal and Toronto and has many places left to visit including: Ottawa (Oct 15th), Montreal (16th), Quebec City (17th), Vancouver (28th), Calgary (29th), Edmonton (30th), Regina/Saskatoon (31st) and Winnipeg (Nov 1st).

He has already taped a CBC Special that is scheduled to air sometime in November. The taping was done in Toronto on the evenings of October 7th & 8th. The scheduled set list for the two nights was for Monday: Kiss The Sky, Simplicity, Tell Me, Love Hurts, Black Cloud Rain and Third of June. Tuesday night's taping took Corey back a few years with the likes of: Sunglasses at Night, In Your Soul, It Ain't Enough and Never Surrender. Fans were invited to attend this intimate performance.
